In all truthfulness, this post was written in the last week of February, a late start for resolutions, but perhaps I could get away with calling them ‘Chinese New Year Resolutions’? I set the date and time to 7th of January 2015 minutes short of 10PM in memory of ‘Christmas’ spent with OCAC coursemates (GZYC, CJLL, KH, ASZ, SL) at XiangShan in Taipei where we devoured an assortment of Sunmerry’s cakes, including the Strawberry Cake, Pineapple pies and Cream Puffs. Listening to ASZ’s Pentatonix Christmas selection, asking a security guard to take a photo for us with KH’s HTC m8, taking instax and ‘parkour parkour’.

Though I’ve been bitter and apathetic about the trip and the people I’ve met from it, it’s reflecting on precious, once-in-a-lifetime moments like these that make me teary-eyed, knowing that we were happy at that instant, and that we all felt loved and appreciated that night, sitting on large stones and looking at the majestic Taipei 101. If any of the aforementioned stumble across this, thank you dearly because I know that for certain that you guys made my trip incredibly memorable.
